Hi, I’m Yaroslava

- the person behind Artist’s Workshop Stockholm.

I’m an architect by training, an urban planner by day, and an artist at heart. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. I started with traditional fine art and later studied architecture and urban planning - all ways of exploring my love for places, details, and how we shape the spaces we live in.

To me, architecture is more than structure - it’s story. It’s people, movement, history, and heart. With pencil in hand, I sketch what cities leave behind in us: a sense of place, a rhythm, a feeling you can’t quite name. My work celebrates the beauty of what’s been built - and the stories still being told. These days, I work as an urban planner, exploring how cities breathe, grow, and come to life - each with its own soul, rhythm, and personality. That work, along with my everyday life here in Nacka, and my love for Stockholm, Swedish cities, culture, and nature, inspires everything I draw.

Through Artist’s Workshop, I turn my hand-drawn illustrations into prints and postcards - little pieces of the city, made with love. Whether it’s a famous landmark or a hidden corner, I focus on the details that give a building its personality - the ones you might pass by without thinking, but that stay with you.

My hope? That these drawings help you see the charm in the places around you - and maybe bring a little joy into your home, or into someone else’s day.
